Bio
When it comes to fast-paced review environments, Scott Mills excels at establishing strong lines of communication, navigating challenges and executing on deliverables. He assumed the Project Manager role for Hudson Legal in early 2011, having excelled on high-profile, complex e-discovery matters for the company since 2007. Recently, he has managed multiple initiatives for Fortune 10 clients involving up to 200 contract attorney reviewers.
The role of Hudson Legal project manager demands a rigorous application of best practice processes, as well as the ability to adjust to day-to-day resource demands and other intangibles. In this capacity, Scott serves on the front line for project success, identifying real-time opportunities to improve efficiency and quality. Based at Hudson’s largest review center in Washington, DC, he also acts as the primary liaison between all involved parties, including clients, law firm partners, technology vendors and the review team.
Scott’s career spans diverse legal environments, including roles as a Legal Consultant for a Miami-based consulting firm and Carnegie Mellon University. Earlier, he served as Assistant Chief Deputy for the Marion County Election Board in Indianapolis, IN, and as an Attorney at Baker & Hostetler in Washington, DC. He is currently admitted in good standing to the Bar Associations of Maryland, Kentucky, and Washington, DC.
A Harvard Law School graduate, Scott was recognized as a Thurgood Marshall Scholar and participated in Street Law, through which law students present on different aspects of the law, basic rights, and educational opportunities in schools, community centers and juvenile detention facilities. He received a Bachelor of Science in Ethics, History and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
